Dying silk veils

Ladysilk products are dyed with Jaquard brand dyes. These dyes chemically react with the silk fiber to make a permanent bond. Unlike some of the cheap foreign veils that bleed, run and fade, Ladysilk products are colorfast.

At Ladysilk we use beautiful color combinations based on artistic principles and Western dancers taste. No ugly, mucky, splotchy combinations here.

Although the dye processes at Ladysilk have been standardized for consistency of product, different dye lots may produce slightly different results…so if you bought a blue veil 5 years ago and want an exact duplicate of it today you may be disappointed. Sorry, but we have no control over the dye industry.
